Why is Digbeth called Digbeth?

In his 1902 'History of the Corporation of Birmingham', the antiquarian Charles Anthony Vince composed how Digbeth High Street was the 'most antiquated road in the City'. He was correct and as the Midland Metro Alliance is building a tramway through the region we are learning and revealing much about its shrouded history. Digbeth has changed much throughout the long term going from being the most prosperous zone of Birmingham to the present unmistakable quality as the Creative Quarter of the city. There is a captivating history to reveal previously, during, and after these achievements.

With the Birmingham Eastside expansion of Midland Metro, we will fabricate 1.7km of cable car track through Digbeth interfacing the region to the remainder of the city and past. Our estimations of maintainability, security, being conscious, to give some examples will be reflected in our work as we assemble this helpful and feasible method of public vehicle.
