During this pandemic is the fact it’s a problem like no other the planet has faced in the previous 10 years, not even like the swine flu which we had to go through in terms of its potential industrial and social impacts. by estimation we will reconfigure that the sweeping of the virus could push millions of people into intense poverty in 2020. At this rate if they were to minimize their vulnerability to the disease, it also means they need defined access to health services. The poor in urban areas, on the opposite hand, sleep in congested settlements with inferiority services, which might significantly increase their risk of being heavily infected by the contagion. Disruptions in food markets might be more severe in urban areas
To put this into context, 2020 are going to be the primary time this century that the amount of poor people will rise, a fact which may be seen in real time because the World Poverty Clock ticks backward. In terms the of issue being resolved re correlates the very fact how by supporting the economy
From my knowledge, Architecture or the other design discipline cannot really 'solve' a problem as diverse and sophisticated as poverty.
Good Architectural or Urban design can although act as a catalyst to policies aimed toward poverty.
There has been an excellent debate recently within the architectural world of Architecture being restricted only to the 'elite'. Some figures estimate that architects still work for less than a mere 5% population of the planet and therefore the remainder of the planet builds themselves, with knowledge passed on to them by their ancestors.
